Huffington Post Article: US Military Deaths in Afghanistan at 1,750
The Huffington Post publiahed an article January 10, 2012 about 1,750 military soldiers have died in Afghanistan since 2001. This article makes me realize how many people risk their lives to protect our country. 1,750 families loss someone special that apart of their life. Just realize one person out of 1,750 people could've been your mother or father. Think of something you could do to help these families. TAKE CHARGE.

It's really nice to read the perspective of someone who is immersed in military life not by choice (enlistment) but by chance as the child of a military family. I think your voice is important and has a valuable place in the blogosphere :).
